O objetivo deste trabalho é reunir e analisar as pesquisas voltadas para a leitura do texto digital, enfocando o processamento cognitivo da informação e a aprendizagem através da leitura. Buscou-se estudos que considerem os efeitos da apresentação visual do hipertexto, do uso de estratégias, ou do ensino de estratégias para a leitura digital na compreensão leitora. Os 24 estudos aqui resumidos e discutidos sugerem a necessidade de enxergar o texto digital como um desafio a ser encarado nas práticas de ensino da leitura de modo a tornar o(a) leitor(a) familiarizado com o ambiente digital e as estratégias de navegação nesse contexto.
Resumo Inglês:
The main objective of the present study is to revise and analyze research focusing in digital reading and the cognitive processing of information and learning. In this respect, studies that considered the effects in reading comprehension of visual presentation of hypertext, of strategy use and of strategy teaching regarding computer mediated reading environment were selected. The 24 studies hereby summarized and discussed suggest that there is a need to look at the digital text as a challenge to be faced in classroom practice in order to make the reader familiar with the digital environment and the navigational strategies in this context.
