LEITURA NA ESCOLA: UMA PRÁTICA DE SIGNIFICÂNCIA

Resumo Português:

Este artigo apresenta uma discussão teórica que parte das descobertas realizadas em uma pesquisa de mestrado realizada na cidade de Capim Grosso - Bahia, tendo como temática Leitura e motivação. Na realidade, buscou - se nessa investigação compreender se os alunos dessa unidade escolar tinham o hábito de ler, como também investigar a relação entre concepções e práticas pedagógicas de professores de Língua Portuguesa sobre leitura, com ênfase nos fatores que interferem na motivação do aluno para o desenvolvimento de práticas de leitura. O espaço empírico tomado para a realização da pesquisa de campo foi uma escola pública do ensino fundamental II. Ademais, este trabalho faz um breve relato histórico da leitura e alguns dos seus conceitos que consideramos importantes e por fim a importância da leitura em sala de aula.

This article presents a theoretical discussion that part of the discoveries are performed in a masters research performed in the city of Capim Grosso - Bahia, having as theme reading and motivation. In fact, this investigation looked to understand if the students in this school unit had the habit of reading, as well investigating the relationship between conceptions and pedagogical practices of teachers of Portuguese language on reading, with emphasis on factors that interfere with the students’ motivation on the development of reading practices. The empirical space used for this field research was a public school from grades 6 to 9. In addition, this job does a brief history report of reading and some of its concepts that we consider important and ultimately the importance of reading in class.
