O presente estudo teve como intuito apresentar os resultados obtidos após a realização do projeto de prospecção arqueológica, a fim de atender à legislação atinente ao licenciamento ambiental e à disciplina arqueológica. O enfoque adotado neste trabalho foi o da arqueologia da paisagem, no qual foi executado levantamento bibliográfico sistemático, expedições de campo para reconhecimento local, prospecção arqueológica pautada na abertura de sondagens para verificação de subsuperfície, registro, delimitação e caracterização dos sítios e áreas de interesse arqueológico e histórico. O potencial arqueológico das áreas vistoriadas no tocante à presença de vestígios relacionados ao passado pré-colonial é alto - assim como para o período histórico - conforme atestam os resultados coletados em campo e o contexto da arqueologia regional.
The objective of this work is to presente the results obtained of the archaeological survey, which sought to record, delimit, research, preserve and disseminate the local archaeological heritage, in order to comply with the legislation related to environmental licensing. The approach adopted in this work was the Landscape Archeology methodoloy, in which a systematic bibliographic survey, field expeditions reconnaissance, archaeological survey based on the subsurface verification, registration, delimitation and characterization of sites and areas of archaeological and historical interest. The archaeological potential of the surveyed areas in relation to the presence of vestiges related to the pre-colonial past is high – as well as the historical past – as attested the results collected in the field and the context of regional archeology.
