O artigo analisa as dificuldades relativas à aparente contradição entre a Dialética e o Cânon sobre a relação entre liberdade transcendental e liberdade prática. São apresentadas e discutidas algumas interpretações sobre esta questão. Aproximando-se da interpretação de H. Allison (Kant’s Theory of Freedom), defende-se a tese de que a ambigüidade do tratamento dado por Kant à s noções de liberdade transcendental e liberdade prática se deve a uma concepção de moralidade ainda insatisfatória da CrÃtica da Razão Pura.
The article analyzes the difficulties relative to the apparent contradiction between the Dialectic and the Canon on the relation between transcendental freedom and practical freedom. Some interpretations on this question are presented and argued. Coming close to the interpretation of H Allison (Kant’s Theory of Freedom), it is defended thesis of that the ambiguity of the treatment given for Kant to the notions of transcendental freedom and practical freedom is due to a conception still unsatisfactory of morality of the Critique of Pure Reason.
