O artigo tem por objetivo investigar e compreender a linguagem infantil presente no gênero textual tirinha, como um processo de interação verbal e de representação da própria linguagem da criança, especificamente nas histórias de Armandinho, de Alexandre Beck. Como proposta metodológica optou-se pelo desenvolvimento de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a partir de uma reflexão teórica e exploratória sobre o gênero tirinhas, diante da qual realizamos um levantamento de dados do autor e do personagem. As discussões teóricas procuram aproximar dois eixos de discussão temática: um sobre o desenvolvimento da linguagem como processo de interação social, conforme Vygotsky (1984, 1989), outro sobre a concepção enunciativa-discursiva da linguagem, segundo Bakhtin (2003, 2006). O estudo indica que a linguagem da criança, na tirinha de humor, aparece representada como forma de manifestação de sentimentos, de expressão atitudinal, de expressividade, de compromisso social em prol de um bem comum, de críticas e de conscientização sobre variados temas.

The article aims to investigate and understand the infant language present in the textual genre cartoon,as a process of verbal interaction and representation of the own language of the child, specifically in the Armandinho’s stories from Alexandre Beck. As a methodological proposal has been chosen by the development of a bibliographical research, from a theoretical reflection and exploratory about the genre comics, before which we carried out a survey of author and character data. The theoretical discussions seek to approach two axes of thematic discussion: one about language development as a process of social interaction, as Vygotsky (1984, 1989), another about the design discursive language from Bakhtin (2003, 2006). The study indicates that the language of the child, in the comic strip humor, appears represented as a form of expression of feelings, of attitudes, of expressiveness, of social commitmenton behalf of a common good, of criticism and varied awareness themes.
