A pretexto de falar das mulheres brasileiras que publicaram na década de
30, o texto resgata um momento especÃfico de nossa literatura e questiona a ausência
das escritoras na historiografia nacional. Se se considera a importância histórica desta
década na vida das mulheres, torna-se compreensÃvel tanto a dimensão introspectiva
como o engajamento presentes na ficção que produziram. Se não fizeram uma
“revolução literáriaâ€, com certeza praticaram a “literatura revolucionáriaâ€, citando João
Luiz Lafetá. Também por isso a escrita feminina foi, desde que surgiu, questionada,
criticada, e privada das qualidades atribuÃdas à escrita dos homens, por sua vez
considerada a literatura tout court.
Under the pretext of mentioning Brazilian women who published in the 30s,
this text rescues a specific moment of our literature and questions the lack of woman
writers in the national historiography. If the historical importance of this decade in
women's lives is considered, it is understandable that both introspective dimension and
the engagement are present in the fiction they produced. If they did not do a "literary
revolution" they certainly practiced the "revolutionary literature" quoting João Luiz
Lafetá. That is why the female writing has been questioned , criticized and deprived of
qualities attributed to the writing of men since it appeared, in turn considered the tout
court literature.
