O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir o ensino de literatura pensando na produção textual a fim de mostrar e propor uma intersecção entre ambos, tendo em vista a capacidade da leitura literária de ampliar a reflexão e criticidade dos alunos acerca de temas, realidades sociais e visões de mundo diferentes, por meio do acúmulo de experiência que a leitura literária possibilita. Para isso, objetiva-se apresentar reflexões e discussões sobre a importância do ensino de literatura para a produção textual. Como embasamento teórico foram utilizados os pressupostos dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (1997; 2000), das Orientações Curriculares Nacionais (2006), de Marisa Lajolo (1988; 2000), Antonio Candido (2011), Clecio Bunzen (2006) e Tvtezan Todorov (2009).

The objective of this work is to discuss the teaching of literature thinking about textual production in order to show and propose an intersection between both, in view of the capacity of literary reading to extend students' reflection and criticism about themes, social realities and different visions of the world, through the accumulation of experience that literary reading enables. For this, it aims to present reflections and discussions about the importance of literature teaching for textual production. As a theoretical basis, the assumptions of the National Curricular Parameters (1997; 2000), the National Curricular Guidelines (2006), Marisa Lajolo (1988; 2000), Antonio Candido (2011), Clecio Bunzen (2006) and Tvtezan Todorov (2009) were used.
