O presente artigo investiga, no âmbito da Literatura Contemporânea, o desenvolvimento da produção artística do escritor Mia Couto, este que em 1980 publica seus primeiros fazeres literários. Para o estudo das análises propostas, temos como objeto de estudo as obras Terra Sonâmbula (1992) e Antes e Nascer o Mundo (2009), ambas do respectivo autor em locus. As reflexões permeiam diálogos possíveis das páginas literárias que por vezes, possibilitam a inauguração de mundos onde a arte pede para a vida continuar. O engajamento político de pensar o homem e a sociedade perpassam as linhas narrativas dos presentes romances. O indivíduo corrompido, marcado pela guerra colonial (1965-1975) e civil (1976- 1992) como representado nas narrativas miacoutianas, tornam-se substâncias que permitem recriar e aprimorar novas estratégias narrativas, bem como, (re)pensar os sujeitos em sua contemporaneidade
The present article investigates, in the context of Contemporary Literature, the development of the artistic production of the writer Mia Couto, who in 1980 published his first literary works. For the study of the proposed analyzes, we have as object of study the works Terra Sonâmbula (1992) and Antes e Nascer o Mundo (2009), both of the respective author in locus. The reflections permeate possible dialogues of literary pages that sometimes allow the inauguration of worlds where art asks for life to continue. The political engagement of thinking about man and society permeates the narrative lines of the present novels. The corrupted individual, marked by the colonial (1965-1975) and civil war (1976-1992) as represented in the miacoutian narratives, become substances that allow to recreate and to improve new narrative strategies, as well as, (re) to think the subjects in their contemporaneity.
