LOGÍSTICA REVERSA DE PNEUS INSERVÍVEIS: ESTUDO DE CASO NO MUNICÍPIO DE XANXERÊ – SC

Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o consumo e o destino de pneus inservíveis, descartados no munícipio de Xanxerê e demostrar toda sua cadeia logística reversa. Justifica-se pela relevância da logística reversa de pneus para que os mesmo não se tornem passivos ambientais pela sua nocividade ao meio ambiente. Apresenta-se abordagem de pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa, aplicando-se entrevista estruturada aos gestores das empresas do ramo de comércio de pneus novos de Xanxerê enquadradas no ramo de atividade de comércio e varejo de pneumáticos e câmaras de ar. Constatou-se que mesmo diante de problemas com armazenagem e transporte devido ao volume, o sistema de logística reversa é eficiente, porém algumas ações podem ser implantadas para que as pessoas sejam informadas e conscientizadas do grande problema ambiental que pode ocorrer com a destinação incorreta dos pneus inservíveis. Neste contexto, uma ação muito benéfica seria criar uma associação das empresas do ramo de comércio de pneus de Xanxerê responsável por criar canais de informação com o público bem como coletar e armazenar, criar parcerias com empresas de processamento e dar destino correto aos pneus inservíveis.

This article aims to analyze the consumption and destination of discarded unserviceable tires in Xanxerê city and to demonstrate all of their reverse logistics chain. It is justified by the relevance of the tires reverse logistics so that they do not become environmental liability and their harmfulness to the environment. It presents quantitative and qualitative research approach, by applying a structured interview to the managers from the new tires branch of trade companies of Xanxerê city integrated within the field of trade and retail activities of tires and inner tubes. It was found that even in the face of problems with storage and transport due to their volume, the reverse logistics system is efficient, however some actions can be deployed so that people are informed and aware about the big environmental problem that may occur with the improper destination of the unserviceable tires. In this context, it would be a beneficial action to create an association of undertakings of Xanxerê city’s branch of tires trade, responsible for creating information channels to the public just as well as collecting and storing, create partnerships with processing firms and give the correct destination to the unserviceable tires.
