Pelo estudo do desenvolvimento de novas ligas metálicas, com propriedades eletromagné-ticas específicas e de novas ligas magnéticas à base de NdFeB, a sistemática de funciona-mento de motores elétricos é apresentada. Nesse escopo, as atuais soluções aos problemas de baixa autonomia e eficiência energética, inerentes aos motores síncronos e assíncronos, são explicadas. Sendo assim, este artigo pretende revisar as tecnologias de disposição e montagem das peças do conjunto motor, diminuindo os custos de fabricação relacionados a essa categoria, e aumentando a atratividade de veículos elétricos nos cenários mundial e brasileiro.Palavras-chave: ligas de NdFeB; veículos elétricos; motores elétricos.AbstractBy the study of the development of new metallic alloys, with specific electromagnetic properties and of new magnetic alloys based on NdFeB, the systematics of electric motor operation is presented. In this scope, the current solutions to the problems of low autonomy and energy efficiency, inherent to synchronous and asynchronous motors, are explained. Therefore, this article aims to review the technologies for the arrangement and assembly of the parts of the motor assembly, reducing the manufacturing costs related to this category and increasing the attractiveness of electric vehicles in the world and Brazilian scenarios.
