A partir da pesquisa sobre o uso das mÃdias sociais em quatro instituições públicas que oferecem ensino superior pretende-se discutir as questões éticas que envolvem essa experiência. Entre os principais questionamentos do está a dicotomia entre o espaço virtual como pessoal e lúdico e a tradição das instituições em serem impessoais e coletivas. Além da Comunicação Pública, o balizamento teórico se compõe com os estudos sobre mÃdias sociais, tendo Recuero (2009) e Primo (2006, 2007) como expoentes da reflexão sobre essa cultura digital.
From the research on the use of social media by public education institutions we intend to discuss the ethical issues surrounding this experience. Among the main questions of the work is the dichotomy between the virtual space as personal and playful and the tradition of the institutions on being impersonal and collective. Besides the Public Communication, the theoretical beacon is composed with studies on social media, having Recuero (2009) and Primo (2006, 2007) as exponents of this reflection on digital culture.
