Este artigo abordou a temática da relevância da música na formação da criança na educação infantil. Teve como objetivo investigar se a música é utilizada como recurso didático-pedagógico em sala de aula no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo por meio de investigação bibliográfica e com questionário semiestruturado para uma professora. E por final conclui, que a escola não está com um pensamento amplo de atividades e relação a utilização da música em sala de aula.
This present paper presents aspects concerning the importance of music in the Early Childhood Education process. It aimed to investigate how music is appropriated as an educational resource in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the used research methodology is the qualitative approach conducted by a bibliographic base with semi-structured surveys as instruments for data collection. In conclusion, this study reveals that the school does limited teaching practices using music in Early Child Education.
