A MATEMÁTICA NA ARQUEOLOGIA: UMA INTEGRAÇÃO ENTRE A PINTURA RUPESTRE E A LINGUAGEM MATEMÁTICA

Para tornar ordenado o binômio Matemática/Arqueologia, temos como intenção deste estudo realizar a aproximação dessas áreas aparentemente estanques, visando inseri-las no campo dos estudos que procuram melhor compreender as pinturas rupestres, enquanto forma de comunicação. Para tanto, a ideia central é relacionar os registros rupestres de etnias que viveram há mais de nove mil anos centradas no Complexo
de Sítios Rupestres de Paulo Afonso com as demais civilizações pretéritas. Nesse intuito, toma-se como elemento constitutivo de análise e interpretação a linguagem matemática que, ao aproximar-se dos registros, traçará eixos de interação com imagens identificadas nas civilizações antigas, com vistas a resgatar os valores simbólicos de seus interlocutores.

To sort out the binomial Mathematics / Archaeology, as we realize the intention of this study approximating those areas seemingly watertight with the purpose to include them in studies that seek to better understand the paintings as a form of communication. Furthermore, the key idea is to relate the rock records of the ethnic groups that lived more than nine thousand years with other civilizations centered at Complexo de SítìosRupestres de lVIalhada Grande. To this end, we take as a constitutive element of analysis and interpretation of the mathematical language. As we approach to the records it will draw the axis trace of interaction with images identified in ancient civilizations, in order to rescue the symbolic values of their interlocutors.
