O objetivo do trabalho é avaliar a maturidade de segurança do trabalho aplicando o modelo de Gonçalves Filho, Andrade e Marinho (2011) em uma indústria de sucos. O método de pesquisa é quantitativo descritivo com 35 colaboradores de uma empresa de sucos da serra gaúchano Rio Grande do Sul. Foi aplicada análisede frequênciae a estatística descritiva para se chegar aos resultados. Os resultados apontaram que a dimensão informação apresentou uma média de 3.52 a maior média; a dimensão aprendizagem organizacional ficou com a menor média 2.96 as dimensões comunicação, comprometimento e envolvimento variaram em 3.18, 3.15 e 3.17 e se equivalem. A maturidade de segurança do trabalho global ficou em 3.196.A empresa está no estágio burocrático onde a organização já possui um sistema previsto para gerenciar os possíveis riscos relacionados à segurança no trabalho. Concluímos que é possível identificar algumas oportunidades de melhoria, na empresa estudada. Embora a organização esteja no estágio burocrático de maturidade, onde existem normas e procedimentos específicos para gerenciar os riscos relacionados à segurança no trabalho, há espaço para avançar rumo a uma cultura de segurança mais proativa.

The objective of this work is to evaluate the maturity of work safety by applying the model by Gonçalves Filho, Andrade,and Marinho (2011) in thejuice industry. The research method is quantitative descriptive with 35 employees of a juice company from the Serra Gaúcha in Rio Grande do Sul. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were applied to arrive at the results. The results showed that the information dimension presented an average of 3.52, the highest standard; the organizational learning dimension had the lowest average of 2.96 the communication, commitment,and involvement measurementsvaried by 3.18, 3.15,and 3.17 and were equivalent. The global work safety maturity stood at 3,196. The company is at the bureaucratic stage where the organization already has a system in place to manage possible risks related to safety at work. We conclude that it is possibleto identify some opportunities for improvement in the studied company. Although the organization is in the bureaucratic stage of maturity, where there are specificnorms and procedures to manage risks related to occupational safety, there is room to move towards a more proactive safety culture.
