Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar os contos “Primeiras lem-branças”, o qual está presente no livro A cor da ternura (1998), de Geni Guimarães, e “Despedida de Juazeiro do Norte”, presente no livro Redemoinho em dia quente (2019), de Jarid Arraes. Nesse estudo comparativo, usam-se a memória, a identidade e a representação feminina das protagonistas dos textos-objeto, provocando a reflexão sobre a figura da mulher nas obras de ambas as escritoras e como estas se constroem ao longo das narrativas, trazendo à tona os preceitos vistos acima e a ancestralidade negra representada. A metodologia utilizada foi a bibliográfica.
This paper aims to analyze the short stories “Primeiras lembranças”, that is in the book A cor da ternura (1998), by Geni Guimarães, and “Despedida de Juazeiro do Norte”, present in the book Redemoinho em dia quente (2019), by Jarid Arraes. In this comparative study, the memory, the identity and the female representation of protagonists of short stories are used, provoking the reflection about the female figure in the opuses of Geni Guimarães and Jarid Arraes. It is possible to reflect on how these characters are constructed in the story-line, bringing to light the lemmas aforementioned and the black ancestry, that was represented. The methodology is bibliographical.
