A proposta deste trabalho
é analisar o apoio à ditadura civil-militar brasileira a partir da coleção
de entrevistas intitulada “1964 - 31 de
março: o movimento revolucionário
e sua históriaâ€, produzida e publicada
pelo Exército, entre os anos de 2003
e 2004. Pretende-se verificar, com o
exame dessas narrativas, que a ditadura não foi somente apoiada e legitimada no decorrer dos seus 21 anos.
Quarenta anos depois ela permanece
sendo “louvada†por aqueles que estiveram ao seu lado. Longe do constrangimento e dispostos a falar positivamente do regime, a maioria dos
relatos da coleção permanecem firmes
em defender os princÃpios que eles
acreditaram ser legÃtimos entre 1964
e 1985.
The purpose of this paper is
to analyze the support of the Brazilian
dictatorship from the collection of interviews entitled “1964 - March 31:
the revolutionary movement and its
historyâ€, produced and published by
the Army, between 2003 and 2004.
The aim is to verify, by examining these narratives, that the dictatorship was
not only supported and legitimized
the course of his 21 years. Forty years
later she remains “praised†by those
who were at his side. Far from embarrassment and willing to speak positively of the regime, most accounts
of the collection remain steadfast in
upholding the principles he believed
to be legitimate between 1964 and
1985.
