The author obtained equations of the wave functions for the cubic hybridization (d 3 fsp 3 ) without the usual mathematical models. It was based only on the application of the rules provided by the Quantum Mechanics that govern the principle of the construction of hybrid orbitals. This was only possible because of the high symmetry (Oh) of this hybridization and the equidistance of all the participating atomic orbitals in relation to the proposed water structure.
