Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as representações sobre as mulheres no
discurso da FRELIMO (Frente de Libertação de Moçambique) tomando como base o
jornal A Voz da Revolução, os textos de Samora Machel e as publicações de circulação
interna do Partido. Através da perspectiva da História das Mulheres e, baseando-nos nas
propostas de Roger Chartier, temos como objetivo analisar as representações sociais
relacionadas à criação de ideais de mulher emancipada, avaliando os limites dessa
proposta lançada pela FRELIMO

: This article aims to analyze the representations of women in the discourse of
FRELIMO building on the news paper Voice of the Revolution, the texts of Samora Mache
land publications for internal circulation Party. Through the perspective of the History of
the Women and, base-in the ones in the proposals of Roger Chartier, we have as objective
to analyze the related social representations to the creation of ideals of emancipated
woman, evaluating the limits of this proposal launched by the FRELIMO
