A Igreja é enviada por Cristo com a missão de anunciar a boa nova da salvação a toda a humanidade. O anúncio compreendido na ótica do Vaticano II perpassa por meio do diálogo inter-religioso e da inculturação do evangelho nas diversas culturas, as quais contêm em si mesmas as sementes do Verbo. Muito mais do que implantar comunidades a missão da Igreja é tornar visíveis os sinais do Reino de Deus presente nas culturas. A missão em si mesma é complexa, ela requer que além da convicção de ser chamado e enviado por Cristo, o missionário esteja preparado e livre de preconceito. Em sua missão permanente a Igreja anuncia o evangelho por gestos e palavras, as quais expressam o amor salvífico de Deus por toda a humanidade, num cuidado preferencial aos que mais sofrem. Em tempo oportuno a Igreja na pessoa dos missionários em respeito às culturas e no diálogo inter-religioso anuncia Jesus Cristo propondo a comunidade.
The Church is sent by Christ with the mission of proclaiming the good news of salvation to all mankind. The announcement understood in the perspective of Vatican II permeates through inter-religious dialogue and inculturation of the Gospel in different cultures, which contain in themselves the seeds of the Word. Much more than implement the Church’s mission communities is to make visible the signs of the Kingdom of God present in crops. The mission itself is complex, it requires that in addition to the conviction of being called and sent by Christ, the missionary is pre-pared and prejudice-free. In its permanent mission the Church proclaims the Gospel by word and deed, which express the saving love of God for all mankind, a preferential care to those who suffer most. In a timely manner the Church in the person of the missionaries in respect for cultures and interreligious dialogue announces Jesus Christ proposing to the community.
