Este ensaio tem o objetivo
de apresentar uma discussão sobre as
relações entre mito e história na
etnologia indÃgena. Desde uma
inspiração epistemológica inicial que
concedeu pouco valor Ã
temporalidade, a antropologia se
esforça para superar uma série de
oposições que a marcaram; dentre as
quais os debates entre história e mito
realocam o diálogo rico e fecundo
entre antropologia e história na
etnologia indÃgena.
