This article aims to analyze the presence of cultural mobility as a strategy of
insubordination in the novel Le goût des jeunes filles (1992), writer Dany
Laferrière. Therefore, for the analysis of cultural mobilities in the novel, will be
investigated as the narrative resources used by D. Laferrière, dialogue with the
memorial aspects of mobility or intersubjective, or perform as "the movement
between memory and forgetting not in the sense of dialectical opposition, but
the mechanism of constitutive equations of the mind where memory itself is an
integral aspect in the process mnemonic, "according to Z. Bernd (2010). It will
also be investigated as traces of mobility or memorial gifts are intersubjective in
the novel of D. Laferrière through the association between imagination and
movement, and those traits responsible for making possible the transcendence of
the real and expected, and thus facilitate the subversion of reality in Haitian
intellectual and artistic imagination.
