Cada época compreende um conjunto de características peculiares que a diferencia das outras. Se não fosse assim, não teríamos propriamente um arranjo de características com possibilidades capazes de agrupá-las no que se pode configurar e delimitar como período histórico. Visa-se, portanto, compreender as modernizações do período da globalização e algumas de suas feições geográficas. O empreendimento deste ensaio busca também chamar atenção para uma interpretação da realidade que use conceitos casados com o tempo atual, ou seja, com a realidade empírica presidida por sistemas de objetos e por sistemas de ações do tempo presente. As modernizações da atualidade são expressas em diferentes dimensões, quais sejam: sociais, econômicas, políticas, técnico-científicas, culturais etc. Seguindo o encaminhamento metodológico do pensamento miltoniano, a interpretação geográfica da atualidade dar-se levando em conta as mudanças que se expressam com mais relevo em feições técnicas, científicas e informacionais que configuram o meio técnico-científico-informacional, a face geográfica da globalização.

Each season includes a number of unique features that differentiate it from other. If it were not so, we would not exactly an array of features with possibilities able to group them as it can set up and define as a historical period. The aim is therefore to understand the modernization of the globalization period and some of its geographical features. The development of this paper also seeks to draw attention to an interpretation of reality that use married concepts with the current time, i.e., the empirical reality chaired by systems of objects and actions of the present timesystems. The modernizations of today are expressed in different dimensions, namely: social, economic, political, scientific and technical, cultural etc. Following the methodological routing of “miltoniano” thought, the present geographical interpretation to be taking into account changes that are expressed with more emphasis on technical features, scientific and informational that form the technical-scientific-informational milieu, the geographic face of globalization.
