As revoluções social e cultural dos anos 1960
propiciaram transformações nos padrões de conduta sexual,
percebidas em expressões como a permissividade das imagens
de corpos femininos veiculadas pela mÃdia. Neste artigo,
apresento uma discussão sobre este fenômeno a partir das
esculturas/mobiliário criadas pelo artista “pop†Allen Jones
em 1969, cuja proposta mobilizou a reação do movimento
feminista britânico.
The 1960s social and cultural revolutions enabled
transformations at the sexual behavior norms, perceived at
expressions such as the permissive images of the female
body propagated by media. In this article, I present a
discussion on related issues based on the sculptures/furniture
created by the pop artist Allen Jones in 1969, whose work
has triggered a reaction from the British feminist movement.
