Fundamentação: a combinação sinestésica gerada por softwares e a construção de meios para tornar a música em algo visual é de grande valia para a musicoterapia com pacientes surdos. Objetivo: investigar os efeitos da musicoterapia improvisacional por meio de um software em aspectos sensoriais, emocionais e musicais de crianças e jovens surdos. Método: ensaio controlado randomizado com 38 participantes divididos em dois grupos: tratamento musicoterapêutico com o uso do software “CromoTMusic” (n=19) e o uso de educação musical por vibração (n=19). As mensurações dos três desfechos (antes, durante e após as intervenções) foram realizadas pela versão brasileira da escala Individualized Music Therapy Assessment Profile (IMTAP). Resultados: o tratamento musicoterapêutico foi superior ao tratamento controle em todas as comparações intergrupos, exceto para a comparação dos desfechos Sensorial (Fundamentos) entre T2 e T1, para todos os desfechos do subdomínio Sensorial (Proprioceptivo), para o desfecho Musicalidade (Fundamentos) entre T2 e T1 e para todos os desfechos do subdomínio Musicalidade (Dinâmica). Conclusões: ainda que os resultados sejam positivos, não é possível generalizar os achados deste estudo, considerando que este foi o primeiro ECR sobre o tema.



Resumo Inglês:

Background: the synesthetic combination generated by a software and the construction of means to make music something visual is of great value for music therapy with to work with deaf clients. Objective: to investigate the effects of improvisational music therapy through software in the sensorial, emotional and musical aspects of deaf children and young people. Method: randomized. controlled trial with 38 participants divided into two groups: music therapy treatment using the "CromoTMusic" software (n = 19) and the use of musical education by vibration (n = 19). Measurements of the three outcomes (before, during and after the interventions) were performed by the Brazilian version of the Individualized Music Therapy Assessment Profile (IMTAP) scale. Results: the music therapy treatment was superior to the control treatment in all intergroup comparisons, except for the comparison of the Sensorial (Fundamentals) between T2 and T1, for all the outcomes of the Sensorial subdomain (Proprioceptive), for the Musicality (Fundamentals) between T2 and T1 and for all outcomes of the Musicality (Dynamic) subdomain. Conclusions: Although the results are positive, it is not possible to generalize the findings of this study, considering that this was the first RCT on the subject.
