Objetivou-se verificar diferentes níveis de energia metabolizável, pela inclusão de diferentes níveis de FDN proveniente de forragem (FDNf), sobre a composição química da carcaça de cordeiros. Utilizou-se 64 animais distribuídos em quatro tratamentos: 8,67; 17,34; 26,01 e 34,68% de FDNf na dieta. Quatro animais de cada tratamento foram abatidos aos 43, 83, 123 e 173 dias. As dietas foram compostas por feno de coast-cross, soja, milho e premix. O delineamento utilizado foi de blocos casualizados em arranjo fatorial 4x4. Os dados foram analisados pelo procedimento GLM do programa SAS e as médias comparadas pelo teste SNK. Os animais que receberam dieta B e abatidos aos 173 dias, apresentaram melhores carcaças.
The objective was to evaluate differents levels of metabolizable energy, including different levels of FDN from forage (FDNf), on chemical composition of lambs carcasses. 64 animals were used, distributed in four treatments: 8.67; 17.34; 26.01 and 34.68% of FDNf in the diet. Four animals from each treatment were slaughtered at 43, 83, 123 and 173 days. The diets were composed of coast-cross hay, soy, corn and premix. The design used was randomized blocks in a 4x4 factorial arrangement. The data were analyzed by GLM procedure of the SAS program and the means compared by SNK test. The animals that received diet B and slaughtered at 173 days, presented better carcasses.
