Este artigo visa estudar a crônica datada de 24 de março de 1895 da série A semana, de Machado de Assis, buscando analisar como se dá a representação e transgressão do espaço feminino oitocentista nesse texto, isso, por meio da análise das ações performáticas do narrador na referida narrativa. O presente texto transita pela idéia de representação (Pollock, Goffman), leitor implícito (Iser), disciplina (Foucault), etc. Traçando, com isso, uma fundamentação teórica multidisciplinar para dar maior sustentabilidade à proposta em questão.
This article aims to study the chronic of dated march 24, 1895 from the series A semana by Machado de Assis, trying to analyze how the representation is given and transgression of female space in the nineteenth century text, so, through the analysis of performed of the narrator in the narrative. This text passes through the idea of representation (Pollock, Goffman), impled reader (Iser), discipline (Foucault) etc. Tracing thus a multidisciplinary theoretical basis to gave a greater sustainability to the proposal in question.
