Burma Boy and Pornografia are texts seen as aesthetic works that work the
perspective and maturation of teenagers who are facing the context of the II
World War. This scenario offers a critical view concerning the effects
caused by the war in the life of those submitted to it. Besides that, the links
among the plots and its characters and the life of each author shows the
necessity of exposing what has been experienced by them, even if not
directly. What is intended here is to show the reason why
infancy/adolescence and war have been put together and the aesthetic gains
by choosing such an age, beyond that, the relations between story and
author‘s real life. Finally, unveil a literature that although aesthetic merit,
also offers history rethinking, and that is because of the witness charge and
content found in the plots.
