Essa pesquisa objetivou analisar como o professor pode ressignificar sua prática pedagógica, utilizando as novas ferramentas tecnológicas em sala de aula. E como esses docentes e alunos estão enfrentando os anseios de serem nativos, imigrantes ou excluídos digitais. A metodologia da pesquisa foi pautada numa abordagem qualitativa, tendo como modalidade a pesquisa participante, que se traduz como um envolvimento legítimo entre o pesquisador e o objeto pesquisado. No entanto, para a coleta de dados foram aplicados questionários junto aos professores e alunos da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba, Campus III, Guarabira/PB, de modo a identificar em suas práticas pedagógicas de que forma enfrentam os anseios dos alunos nativos e excluídos digitais, e como parte desses docentes se percebem enquanto imigrantes digitais. Os resultados da investigação nos remetem refletir sobre o uso das novas ferramentas tecnológicas, pois as mesmas podem contribuir grandemente para a aprendizagem, e para uma prática pedagógica significativa, quando utilizadas de forma produtiva no contexto educacional. No entanto as implicações da pesquisa apontam para a limitação na formação dos professores, no que diz respeito ao uso das novas tecnologias em sala de aula, e ainda mostram a grande quantidade de excluídos e imigrantes digitais em meio a tantos jovens discentes.

This research aimed to analyze how the teacher can resignify his pedagogical practice, making use of the new technological tools in the classroom. And how these teachers and students are facing the urges to be natives, immigrants or digital excluded. The methodology of the research was based on a qualitative approach, having as participant research modality, which translates as a legitimate involvement between the researcher and the researched object. However, for the data collection, questionnaires were applied to the teachers and students of the State University of Paraíba, Campus III, Guarabira/PB, in order to identify in their pedagogical practices how they face the wishes of the native and excluded digital students, and as part of these teachers perceive themselves as digital immigrants. The results of the research refer us to the use of the new technological tools, since they can contribute greatly to the learning, and to a significant pedagogical practice, when used productively in the educational context. However, the implications of the research point to the limitation in the training of teachers, regarding the use of new technologies in the classroom, and still show the large number of excluded and digital immigrants among so many young students.
