Este artigo faz parte do
projeto “As novenas na zona rural de
catalão: momentos de festejo, louvor
e transgressão: (Dos primórdios da
cidade à década de 1960)”. O
objetivo do presente estudo é
analisar as experiências religiosas
populares, no processo de realização
das novenas, nas comunidades rurais
Ribeirão, Mata Preta e Tambiocó, no
município de Catalão, a partir das
memórias de representantes desta
cultura religiosa.

1960s)”. The purpose of this study
is to analyze the popular religious
experiences in the process of
