O último curso de Ferdinand de Saussure e a sua presença no “Curso de Linguística Geral”

Este artigo apresenta uma análise do Curso de Linguística Geral, cujo principal objetivo é identificar quais partes da obra são referentes ao terceiro curso de Linguística Geral ministrado por Saussure entre 1910 e 1911, na Universidade Pública de Genebra. Para realizar essa identificação, utilizamos duas edições críticas do próprio Curso de Linguística Geral, uma de Tulio Mauro (2005) e outra de Rudolf Engler (1989), as quais apresentam o corpus utilizado por C. Bally e A. Sechehaye para elaborar a obra, além de especificar quais destas fontes foram utilizadas em cada parte dela. Assim, após a leitura dessas edições e a análise do Curso de Linguística Geral, pudemos apontar as páginas e parágrafos da obra que pertencem ao conteúdo exposto no terceiro curso ministrado por Saussure, atingindo o objetivo proposto
como primordial de nossa análise.

This paper presents an analysis of the “Course in General Linguistics” book. The main objective of this work is to identify which parts of such book belong to the third course of General Linguistics that Saussure taught between 1910 and 1911, at State University of Geneva. To accomplish this identification, we used two critical editions of the “Course in General Linguistics” itself, one made by Tulio Mauro (2005) and another written by Rudolf Engler (1989), both presenting the corpus used by C. Bally and A. Sechehaye to produce the work, besides specifying which of these sources were used in each part of it. Therefore, after reading these editions and analyzing the “Course in General Linguistics”, we point out the pages and paragraphs of this latter work that belongs to the content presented in the third course given by Saussure, reaching the main goal of our analysis.
