Este artigo tem o objetivo de traçar perspectivas sobre o jornalismo cultural presente no site Olhar Conceito, uma página segmentada de Olhar Direto, um dos principais portais de notícias de Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. Desta forma, optamos por fazer um recorte temático a respeito da cobertura sobre o lambadão, ritmo musical que expressa um movimento representativo da cultura popular de Cuiabá e do estado de Mato Grosso, localizado na Região Centro-Oeste do Brasil. Portanto, a partir da investigação dos conteúdos produzidos pelo site em análise, buscamos identificar qual é o espaço dado ao lambadão no veículo, bem como verificar quais são os fatos que o insere nas pautas elaboradas pelo site. Além disso, nos propomos a discutir a importância das mídias digitais e da globalização do acesso à internet, como possíveis responsáveis pelo maior conhecimento do ritmo lambadão nos dias atuais, em que seus produtores, ao utilizarem as ferramentas tecnológicas disponíveis, se mostram atentos às transformações. Nesse sentido, localizamos o tema desta pesquisa no contexto dos estudos culturais latino-americanos, tendo como base a contribuição do pensamento teórico-metodológico de Jesús Martín-Barbero, filósofo e reconhecido pesquisador espanhol radicado na Colômbia.
This article aims to outline perspectives on cultural journalism on the website Olhar Conceito, a segmented page of Olhar Direto, one of the main news portals in Cuiabá, of Mato Grosso. In this way, we chose to make a thematic cut about the coverage of lambadão, a musical rhythm that expresses a movement representative of the popular culture of Cuiabá and the state of Mato Grosso, located in the central-west region of Brazil. Therefore, based on the investigation of the content produced by the website under analysis, we seek to identify what is the space given to the lambadão in the site, as well as to verify the facts that insert it in the guidelines prepared by the website. Also, we propose to discuss the importance of digital media and the globalization of internet access, being able to be responsible for the greater knowledge of the lambadão rhythm nowadays, in which its producers, when using the available technological tools, are attentive to the transformations. In this sense, we located the theme of this research in the context of Latin American cultural studies, based on the contribution of the theoretical and methodological thought of Jesús Martín-Barbero, philosopher and renowned Spanish researcher based in Colombia.
