Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar a experiência de pesquisa com os processos judiciais trabalhistas salvaguardados em arquivo permanente no Centro de Memória da Justiça do Trabalho da 11º Região. Nesse sentido, buscamos apresentar a tipologia das documentações presente nos arquivos, destacando a potencialidade dessas fontes para o desenvolvimento de pesquisas a fim de entender os Mundos do Trabalho da Amazônia. A partir disso, pontuamos como o descarte - com amparo legislativo - atingiu essas memórias e, em contrapartida, como as lutas travadas nos últimos anos em nome da preservação e manutenção dessas documentações tem resultado em saldos positivos.

This article aims to set forth a research experience with the labor lawsuits safeguarded in a permanent file at the Labor Justice Memory Center of the 11th Region (Centro de Memória da Justiça do Trabalho – 11º Região). In this sense, it is sought to show the typology of the documentation present in the archives, highlighting the potential of these sources for research development in order to understand the worlds of work in the Amazon. From this point, it is drawn attention how the disposal - with legislative support - reached these memories and, on the other hand, how the struggles in recent years in the name of preserving and maintaining these documents have resulted in positive balances.
