O conceito de fé na teologia fundamental cristã

Ao aventurarmo-nos no estudo da teologia, devemos antes nos aprofundar nos conceitos básicos que ela possui. Por exemplo, o que entendemos por revelação, que é o início de toda verdade revelada, tratada pela teologia. Por isso afirmamos que esse conceito é o mais básico de todos. Ao falarmos de revelação, outro conceito vem em nossa mente: é o que entendemos por fé. Ao falarmos de revelação, necessariamente devemos tratar também da fé, que é a resposta que devemos dar à revelação de Deus. Por ser um conceito tão importante e básico para a teologia, até mesmo para se entender a revelação, conceito primeiro da ciência teológica, visamos expor nesse escrito o que a doutrina cristã entende quando fala de fé. Trataremos desse conceito, primeiro na Sagrada Escritura, depois na era Patrística e, por fim, no Magistério atual da Igreja.

When we venture into the study of theology, we must first delve into the basic concepts it has. For example, what we understand by revelation, which is the beginning of all revealed truth, treated by theology. That is why we say that this concept is the most basic of all. When we talk about revelation, another concept comes to mind: it is what we understand by faith. When we talk about revelation, we must necessarily also talk about faith, which is the response we must give to God's revelation. Because it is such an important and basic concept for theology, even for understanding revelation, the first concept of theological science, we intend to expose in this writing what Christian doctrine understands when it talks about faith. We will deal with this concept, first in Sacred Scripture, then in the patristic era and, finally, in the current Magisterium of the Church.
