Este artigo destina-se a responder à pergunta: o que se entende por sistema jurídico? É certo que esse termo parece ser um dos lugares-comuns do Direito, mas não é certo que os juristas saibam o que se entende por sistema no sentido jurídico da expressão. É dizer, se é certo que se emprega o termo de modo bem difundido, não é menos certo que os juristas, em geral, saibam precisar o que é o sistema jurídico.

This article is intended to answer the question: what is meant by the legal system? It is true that this term seems to be one of the common places of law, but it is not certain that jurists know what is meant by system in the legal sense of the expression. That is to say, if it is true that the term is used in a very widespread way, it is not that jurists know what is meant by it and that they know how to specify what the legal system is.
