O estudo teve como objetivo demonstrar as potencialidades de crescimento da empresa através da contabilidade consultiva para o Microempreendedor individual. Foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa com microempreendedores individuais na cidade de Viçosa do Ceará. O estudo trouxe o reflexo de outros estudos sobre o MEI e o contador, o que se percebe é que neste reflexo, a imagem do contador vem perdendo espaço e talvez até credibilidade para alguns microempreendedores, já que a visão destes é que sozinho eles conseguem realizar todos os processos relativos à empresa, entretanto, o portal pode tirar algumas dúvidas ou mesmo auxiliar o microempreendedor, mas, este mesmo portal não dá ao microempreendedor a visão de seu empreendimento de forma profunda e nem soluciona problemas referentes à empresa.
The study aimed to demonstrate the company's growth potential through consultative accounting for the individual Microentrepreneur. Quantitative research was carried out with individual microentrepreneurs in the city of Viçosa do Ceará.
