O CONTEÚDO DA FALA DO JORNAL NACIONAL À LUZ DA SEMIÓTICA DISCURSIVA

O presente artigo apresenta alguns resultados de análises que tomaram como escopoteórico-metodológico a semiótica discursiva de A. J. Greimas. O corpus estudadocompreende duas matérias exibidas pelo Jornal Nacional (JN), principal telejornal brasileiro.As matérias são avaliadas principalmente quanto ao nível discursivo previsto pelo percursogerativo de sentido, especificamente a semântica discursiva, pela análise de temas e figuras.Além disso, também desse nível, analisa-se a aspectualização, principalmente em relação aotempo, ou seja, o andamento do conteúdo do texto. Com relação às análises dos temas efiguras, pode-se dizer que o discurso do Jornal Nacional é mais figurativo que temático, istoé, ao passar para o nível discursivo, categorias do nível narrativo são necessariamentetematizadas e frequentemente figurativizadas criando um simulacro de mundo natural. Quantoao andamento, os textos analisados se estruturam de duas maneiras: a primeira delas é umandamento acelerado inicial que decresce no decorrer do texto. A segunda forma deestruturação textual em termos de andamento é uma oscilação entre aceleração edesaceleração. Por fim, ao estabelecer os traços sêmicos que subjazem aos temas e figuras,conclui-se que JN atua como Destinador-manipulador que determina os valores doDestinatário-sujeito, figurativizado pelo telespectador.

This article presents some results of analysis that took as scope the discursive semiotics of A. J. Greimas. The corpus includes two texts studied displayed by Jornal Nacional (JN), the most important Brazilian TV newscast. The texts are evaluated primarily on the discursive level provided by a meaning generative process, specifically the discourse semantics, from the analysis of themes and figures. In addition, in this level we analyze also the aspectualization, especial ly in relation to time, or the progress of the text. Regarding the analysis of the themes and figures, we can say that the discourse of JN is more figurative than thematic, that is, categories of the narrative level are necessarily themed and often figurativized, creating a simulacrum of the natural world. Regarding to the aspect of the time, the analyzed texts are structured in two ways: the first is a rapid initial progress that decreases in the text. The second form of text structure in terms of progress is an oscillation between acceleration and deceleration. Finally, to establish the semic features that underlie the themes and figures, it appears that JN acts as Sender - handler that determines the values of the recipient - subject, figurativized the viewer .
