Dentre os diversos gêneros, ou formas, que podem tomar um texto literário, há um que
tem seu lugar no limiar entre a literatura e o ensaio propriamente dito: o conto
ensaÃstico. Apresentar um esboço desse “subgênero†do conto é o propósito do presente
texto.
Among the different genders or forms in which a literary text can be presented there is
one, that has its place at the borderline between literature and essay proper. It’s the
essayistic short story. The purpose of this texts is to present a draft of this “sub-genderâ€
of the short story.
