O presente artigo pretende
analisar as relações existentes entre a
metaficção historiográfica e a
ideologia presente no romance
naturalista O Cortiço (1890), de
AluÃsio Azevedo, mediante a
articulação de uma leitura a partir do
método foucautiano. Processando
diálogos entre aparentes e distintos
campos e discursos, propõe uma
reflexão sobre o controle e a
disciplina por intermédio do
panoptismo, utilizando como fonte
de pesquisa a obra historiográfica
Vigiar e punir, escrito por Michel
Foucault em 1975.
The current article
intends to analyze the existing
relations between metaficcion
historiografic and the ideology
presented in the naturalistic
romance O Cortiço (1890), from
AluÃsio Azevedo, by means of
articulation of a reading from
Foucault’s method. Processing
dialogues between apparent and
different speech areas, it considers
a reflection about control and
discipline through panoptism, using
as research source the Vigiar e
punir book, by Michel Foucault in
1975.
