O cuidado humanizado para pacientes psiquiátricos em hospital geral

O projeto de humanização do Hospital dos Trabalhadores de
Ronda Alta - RS teve início em outubro de 2003, e visa a atender
diversos tipos de transtornos psíquicos, como esquizofrenia,
retardo mental, depressão, dependência alcoólica e química,
entre outros. O motivo para desenvolvermos este trabalho é
amenizar o sofrimento psíquico dos pacientes através da
associação de procedimentos, que envolvem, de um lado, a
ação medicamentosa, a fim de modular certas respostas, e, de
outro, a psicoterápica que procura orientar os pacientes sobre
como lidar com seu "problema". Além disso, através da
psicoterapia e dinâmicas de grupo, procuramos indagar o por
que das respostas diferentes, dos medos, angústias, sentimentos
negativos e relacioná-los com o mundo externo. Entendemos
que o tratamento deve contribuir para o bem-estar físico e
psicológico do paciente - espírito e corpo, inteligência,
sensibilidade, responsabilidade pessoal, entre outros.
Acreditamos que todo ser humano deve ser preparado para
elaborar pensamentos autônomos e críticos, como também
formular os seus próprios juízos de falar, decidir por si mesmo,
bem como o seu modo de agir nas diferentes circunstâncias
de vida. Podemos dizer que já estamos colhendo "bons frutos"
através do nosso trabalho e empenho com estes pacientes,
pois obtivemos um resultado satisfatório, com um índice de
82,99% de êxito nos tratamentos, mostrando que, por ser
uma idéia nova, tem dado resultados positivos.

The humanization project of the Hospital dos
Trabalhadores, from Ronda Alta - RS, began in October
2003 and it aims at caring many kinds of psychic disorder,
as schizophrenia, mental retardation, depression, alcohol
and drug addiction, among others. This work aims at
mitigating the patients' psychic suffering by associating
procedures, which involve on one side, the medication
action in order to modulate certain responses, and on the
other, the psychotherapy which aims at orientating the
patients on how to treat his/her "problem". Besides,
through the psychotherapy and group dynamics, we try
to ask the reason of different responses, the fears; anxiety,
negative feelings and relate them with the external world.
We know that the treatment shall contribute to the
patient's physical and psychological well-being - spirit and
body, intelligence, sensibility, personal responsibility, among
others. We believe that every human being shall be
prepared to have autonomous and critical thoughts, as well
as to formulate his own speaking judgments , to make his
own decisions, as well as his way of acting in the different
life circumstances. We can say that we have already been
taking the credits with our work and pledge with these
patient, because we have already obtained a satisfactory
result -a rate of 82.99% of success with the treatments,
showing that as new idea, it has been giving positive results.
