O debate sobre a construção de estratégias e táticas profissionais no Serviço Social ainda não ganhou a expressividade que merece entre as produções téoricometodológicas publicadas no Brasil. Mesmo assim, configura-se enquanto um campo onde expressam-se importantes disputas em torno da busca pela hegemonia de projetos de profissão. O presente trabalho apresenta, portanto, um levantamento acerca dos principais debates travados nos campos da pós-modernidade e da tradição marxista a respeito do debate acerca das estratégias e táticas em Serviço Social. Problematiza algumas questões que perpassam essa temática e oferece reflexões sobre as estratégias e táticas enquanto mediações na conformação da intervenção profissional. The debate about the construction of strategies and professional tactics in Social Work has not yet gained the expressiveness it deserves among the theoreticalmethodological productions published in Brazil. Even so, it is set up as a field where important disputes are expressed around the search for hegemony of profession projects. The present paper therefore presents a survey of the main debates in the fields of postmodernity and the Marxist tradition regarding the debate about strategies and tactics in Social Work. It problematizes some issues that pervade this theme and offers reflections on strategies and tactics as mediations in the conformation of professional intervention.
