Este artigo apresenta uma análise sobre o desafio de ser professor na era contemporânea, buscando algumas soluções para os problemas que esse desafio apresenta no cotidiano escolar. Perpassa rapidamente pelas questões das mudanças sociais, pelos valores e contra valores sociais. A prática de ensino situada na história da educação brasileira e, finalmente, chegamos a possibilidades de solução, concluindo que as atitudes são fundamentais para o sucesso escolar.

This article presents the an analyse about the challenge of being a teacher nowadays, looking for solutions to solve the problems presented by the challenge at school daily routine. Permeates quickly at social changing questions, by social values and against social values. The education practice in Brazil and fi naly, we achieve the possible solutions, concluding that atitudes are the best to get school success.
