O estudo teve como objetivo analisar o alinhamento do plano municipal de turismo com as questões ambientais no município de Bento Gonçalves, RS. A pesquisa foi exploratória descritiva, sendo os dados obtidos através de fontes secundárias provenientes de documentos da gestão pública, empresas privadas, entidades e instituições representantes da atividade do turismo no município. A interpretação dos dados foi realizada pela metodologia qualitativa, através da análise de conteúdo. Por fim, a análise mostrou a ineficácia no alinhamento das políticas públicas com os interesses das rotas turísticas e a incapacidade da gestão pública em atender e executar de acordo com cronograma das ações previstas no plano municipal de turismo.
The study problem was: as the municipality of Bento Gonçalves, RS, considered an inducer of tourism activity in the national scope, contemplates the environmental issues, in the municipal tourism plan. The objective was to analyze the "MUNICIPAL TOURISM PLAN - 2015/2018" and the criteria established for environmental issues within the municipality. The research was qualitative, exploratory of documentary analysis. Finally, he considered that it is extremely important to articulate public policies and strategies of systemic planning, integrated and that includes multidisciplinary knowledge, in order to obtain an efficient and effective plan. Concluded that it is necessary to the convergence of the efforts of the private sector, the local community and the public sector so that the actions for a sustainable tourism development and socioenvironmental might be in sync with the interests of the stallholders.
