O curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo é voltado a formar professores para atuarem nas escolas do campo, tendo uma formação diferenciada das outras licenciaturas, pois a Licenciatura em Educação do Campo visa formar sujeitos para atuarem por área de conhecimento e não por disciplinas isoladas, gerando assim uma maior amplitude na área de atuação dos profissionais egressos do curso. Dessa forma, propormos aqui discutir a formação por área de conhecimento da Licenciatura Interdisciplinar em Educação do Campo da Universidade Federal de Campina, especificamente na área das Ciências Humanas e Sociais, destacando o Ensino de Geografia e sua importância na contribuição para o desenvolvimento do senso crítico dos graduandos da referida área. O texto se inicia com uma breve história da Licenciatura em Educação do Campo; posteriormente, discutiremos a Geografia no âmbito da Formação da Área de Conhecimento -Ciências Humanas e Sociais da Licenciatura Interdisciplinar em Educação do Campo da UFCG, mostrando as disciplinas de Geografia que compõem o currículo do curso e sua articulação com a Educação do Campo; finalmente, teceremos breves considerações finais acercada temática nessa reflexão.
The course of degree in countryside education is aim at form teachers to act in the countryside schools, having a differentiated formation from others degrees, because the degree in countryside education aims to form subjects to act by knowledge area and not by isolated disciplines, generating a greater amplitudein the act area of former graduate professionals of course. In this way, we propose here to discuss the formation by knowledge area of interdisciplinary degree in countryside education in the Federal University of Campina, specifically in the area of Human and Social Sciences, highlighting the teaching of geography and its importance on contribution to the development of critical sense of the graduating students of referred area. The text begins with a brief history of degree in countryside education; posteriorly, we will discuss geography in the scope of formation on knowledge area –Human and Socials Sciences of the Interdisciplinary Countryside Education of the UFCG, showing the geography disciplines that set the course curriculum and its articulation with the countryside education; finally, we will weave brief considerations about the subject in this reflection
