O ENSINO DE TEATRO JUNTO A ALUNOS INDÍGENAS: UM DESAFIO INTERCULTURAL

O presente artigo analisa o ensino de teatro em um contexto de interculturalidade - mais especificamente, no âmbito da educação com estudantes indígenas. O objetivo é problematizar o desafio de valorizar os saberes dos povos indígenas e, ao mesmo tempo, trabalhar com conhecimentos utilizados no ensino tradicional de teatro. Como metodologia será apresentado um estudo de caso, oriundo da experiência da autora junto a estudantes de quatro etnias indígenas, aliado ao pensamento de teóricos dos campos da educação, da arte-educação e do teatro. O resultado que se pretendeu alcançar configura-se não como resposta, mas antes, na formulação de questões que possam guiar futuras reflexões acerca do tema.

This paper aims to analyze the theater teaching practice within a context of interculturality; more specifically, in the context of education for indigenous students. The proposed approach aims to confront the challenge of providing an education that integrates the knowledge of indigenous people, but, at the same time, works with traditional teaching theater knowledge. The methodology includes a case study, derived from the practical experience of the author with students of various indigenous ethnic groups, allied to the thought of theorists from the fields of education, arts education and theater. The results to be achieved are not presented in the shape of answers but, rather, they consist in the formulation of certain questions, which can work as guidelines for further thinking on the subject.
