Este trabalho aborda alguns aspectos referentes ao mito do rei Midas, inicialmente conforme os versos 85-193 do Livro XI das Metamorfoses de Ovídio, em que é contada a trajetória deste personagem em dois momentos distintos. A seguir, são apresentadas outras versões e interpretações diferentes deste mito, que poderiam conduzi-lo a novas associações, inclusive à figura do tradutor.
This work focuses some aspects of the Midas myth, first according to the verses 85-193 of Book XI of Ovid’s Metamorphoses, which is told in the history of this king at two different times. And then presents other versions and different interpretations of this myth, which can lead him to new associations, including the translator.
