O foco na estrutura básica da sociedade e a crítica ao dualismo de John Rawls

O objetivo deste artigo é discutir o argumento de John Rawls sobre o foco na estrutura básica da sociedade, bem como algumas críticas formuladas contra esse aspecto de sua teoria da justiça. Para isso, inicialmente reconstruiremos os argumentos rawlsianos que fundamentam seu foco na estrutura básica, enfatizando a importância dos princípios de justiça. Em seguida, apresentaremos as críticas formuladas por G.A. Cohen e Liam Murphy contra o foco na estrutura básica. Por fim, defenderemos o foco na estrutura básica contra essas críticas, argumentando que a teoria rawlsiana fornece um instrumental teórico eficiente para a promoção da justiça social.
Resumo Inglês:
The aim of this paper is to discuss John Rawls’s argument on the focus on the basic structure of the society and some critics addressed against this aspect of his theory of justice. Initially, we’ll present the Rawlsian arguments about the focus on the basic structure, stressing the importance of the principles of justice. Then, we’ll provide the critics formulated by G.A. Cohen and Liam Murphy against the focus on the basic structure. Finally, we’ll defend the focus on the basic structure against those critics, arguing that the Rawlsian theory provides efficient theoretical tools for the promotion of the social justice.
