Este artigo aborda o inÃcio da escolarização na cidade de Cláudia, municÃpio de Sinop na década de 80 do século passado. Por meio de depoimentos orais e escritos, fotografias e documentos conseguimos reconstruir este recorte da história escolar da cidade, momento em que seus professores e alunos nos falam sobre suas vivências neste contexto histórico especÃfico. Tratamos de um inÃcio de agricultores, donas de casas e até adolescentes que se dispunham a trabalhar em salas de aula de alfabetização com o propósito de não deixarem as crianças em idade escolar fora da escola. Os professores aqui citados, posteriormente seguiram a carreira da docência, graduando-se em Licenciaturas e são atuantes nas escolas da região.
This article discusses the first years of schooling in the city of Claudia, belonging to Sinop in the 80s. Through oral and written testimonies, photographs and documents we could rebuild this part of the city scholar history, when teachers and students talk about their experience in this specific historical context. At the beginning we deal with the farmers, housewives and teenagers that worked as teachers in alphabetization classroom in order not to leave the yang children out of school. The cited here pointed, followed the teaching career, graduating in Teachers undergraduate and nowadays they teach in the schools of that region.
