O objetivo deste artigo é refletirsobre a elaboração verbo-visual presente no romance Homens imprudentemente poéticos, de Valter Hugo Mãe, a partir da análise da personagem Matsu e da figura do cronotopo da floresta dos suicidas como epicentro irradiador das tensões narrativas. Para tanto, investiga-se as relações dialógicas, com aporte em Mikhail Bakhtin e o Círculo, e propõe-se uma leitura da verbo-visualidade, no sentido de que o verbal está tecido de forma a fazer ver com palavras. Nessa perspectiva, a análise das inter-relações tecidas entre o conteúdo, o material e a forma do texto, no sentido da estética dialógica, bakhtinianamente proposta, servirá de lente para que se compreenda o poder imagético do texto de Valter Hugo Mãe e seu papel na narrativa.
The objective of this paper is to reflect on the verb-visual elaboration present in the novel Homens imprudentemente poéticos, by Valter Hugo Mãe, from the analysis of the character Matsu and the figure of the chronotope of the suicide forest as the epicenter radiating narrative tensions. Therefore, we investigate the dialogical relations, with contribution in Mikhail Bakhtin and the Circle, and propose a reading of the verb-visuality, in the sense that the verbal is woven to make see with words. In this perspective, the analysis of the interrelationships woven between the content, the material, and the form of the text, in the sense of the dialogical aesthetics,bakhtinian proposed, will serve as a lens for understanding the imagery power of the text of Valter Hugo Mãe and its role in the narrative.
