A ilustração de episódios bÃblicos é tema do presente trabalho,
que busca analisar a composição do afresco sistino “JuÃzo Finalâ€
do pintor renascentista Michelângelo. A leitura hermenêutica,
pictórica, remonta ao capÃtulo 20 do livro de Apocalipse,
no intuito de explorar esta nuança refletindo sua significação
para a fé e o conhecimento teológico.
The Subject of this paper are illustrations of Biblical episodes,
by an analizes of the fresco “Last Judgment†in the Sistine Chapel, work of the renaissance painter Michelângelo. This
hermeneutic, pictorial reading, of chapter 20 of the book of
Apocalypse, intents to explore its significance for faith and
theological knowledge.
