Neste artigo é apresentada uma reflexão sobre a presença do movimento no desenvolvimento da Geometria, bem como as implicações didáticas da relação entre a Geometria e o movimento para o ensino daquela disciplina. Para embasar esta reflexão, optou-se por uma breve retrospectiva histórica, a fim de melhor situar o leitor no contexto do tema discutido.
This article reflects upon the presence of movement in the development of Geometry as well as the didactic implications of the relation between Geometry and movement in the teaching of this subject. As a basis for this study, a brief historical review is given in order to provide the reader a context of the theme.
